Learn to Pause Mindfulness Training℠ (4-Hours)
Learn to Pause℠ Mindfulness Training is a 4-hour course that introduces the concepts of meditation and mindfulness to First Responders. Attendees learn the evidence-based benefits of meditation and mindfulness and discover how to use these powerful tools to mitigate stress, regulate emotions, and improve overall health.
Pause First; Rebuild Resilience℠ (4-Hours)
Human beings are resilient by nature, but stress and trauma can weaken resilience, leaving us susceptible to mental, emotional and physical devastation. This course was built on content created and approved by first responders and seasoned mental health professions. We take first responders on a deep dive into the negative and potentially deadly effects of accumulated stress and trauma. We shake them up, wake them up, and give them tools and strategies to begin undoing the damage.
Pause First; Rebuild Resilience℠ (8-Hours)
A powerful, game-changing, 8-Hour training. If you’re serious about facing apathy, burnout, compassion fatigue and even suicide ideation within your organization, it’s time for bold steps. This training combines Pause First; Rebuilding Resilience℠ with Learn to Pause Mindfulness Training℠ for an impactful, paradigm-shifting experience.

Community GiveBack Program
As a way to give back to the Kansas City community, Pause First offers a free monthly class to first responders, veterans and their spouses. This 4-hour block of training has been well-attended since 2017 and is provided at various locations throughout the metro area.
